Our base in Co. Kildare sits right beside Dublin, and our technicians work across the whole county: Dublin City, South Dublin, Fingal and Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, from city centre offices to the business parks along the M50.

Dublin's commercial buildings are rarely simple. Period offices converted floor by floor, multi tenant blocks with a landlord's system and each tenant's fit out on top, data halls, hospitals, schools and colleges all sit within a few miles of each other, and each needs something different from its fire safety systems.

Multi tenant buildings raise a particular problem. A fit out moves the walls, and the detection zones, sounders and emergency lighting stay where they were. The system still tests clean, but it is protecting a floor plan that no longer exists. Part of every survey we do is checking the system against the building as it is now.

What we do in Dublin

Six disciplines, one point of contact.

Design, installation, commissioning and servicing to I.S. 3218, including takeovers of systems someone else installed.

Design, installation and I.S. 3217 testing, including the annual full duration test.

Supply, siting and annual servicing to I.S. 291, with the three yearly discharge test planned in.

Gas and fixed point suppression for server rooms, plant rooms and commercial kitchens.

Two way emergency voice communication for refuge areas, installed and serviced twice a year.

Connection to an alarm receiving centre, with fault investigation and callout for contract customers.

Typical Dublin briefs

The jobs that come up most.

A landlord or managing agent taking over a building with a mixed set of certificates from several past contractors.

A tenant fit out that needs the alarm and emergency lighting brought back into line with the new layout.

An insurer asking for a current I.S. 3218 certificate before renewal.

A comms or server room that needs suppression rather than sprinklers.

Start with a free site survey.

A technician walks the building with you and puts the findings in writing. It is free, there is no obligation to proceed, and the findings are yours either way.
