The Irish standards are the same in Kildare as anywhere else. Most commercial fire alarms are serviced four times a year under I.S. 3218, emergency lighting needs a full duration test every year under I.S. 3217, and extinguishers are maintained annually under I.S. 291 with a discharge test every three years. The records behind all three are the first thing an inspector asks to see.
