Extinguishers are the cheapest part of a fire safety system and the part most often got wrong, usually by having the right number of units in the wrong places, or the wrong type sitting beside the risk it is supposed to cover.
We survey the building, work out what type belongs where, supply and mount the units with signage that can be seen from a distance, and service them annually with certification. Water, foam, CO2, dry powder and wet chemical, plus fixed point automatic units where a portable is not realistic.
The service cycle runs longer than a year. Stored pressure extinguishers get an extended service at around five years, and an overhaul or replacement at around ten, depending on type. Skipping those is how a business ends up with a wall of units that all fall due at once.
